Atelier Elie

Released in 1998, Atelier Elie: The Alchemist of Salburg 2 is the second game in the series and, taking place six years following the events of Atelier Marie.

Hailing from Robison, a small village outside of Salburg, Elfir Traum ('Elie' for short) had never seen alchemy before. However, when a deadly illness sweeps the small village of Robison, a travelling alchemist creates a cure that saves her life.
This event inspires her to make her way to Salburg and enrol in the same academy as her saviour, in hopes of meeting her again - none other than Marie, who has now graduated from the academy and became one of the country's greatest alchemist, but continues to travel and study to ever expand her skills.

When Elie takes the entrance exam, she is discouraged to learn that she has only barely passed the entrance exam. However, her instructor Ingrid sees great potential within her, and grants her the use of Marie's old atelier.

The game features 10 regular endings and 2 bad endings, for a total of 12 possible endings. The player's actions in-game will determine Elie's ultimate goal as well as the length of her stay at the academy.
