Klein's adventure begins when attacked by a monster in the nearby Lapis Woods, is rescued by a girl named Lita Blanchimont.
Meeting again in Kavoc, a city built by those wishing to access Avenberry, Klein and Lita decide to travel together - and so, Klein becomes wound up in her fate and eventually, the fate of the world.
