Mana Khemia
Released in 2007, Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis (released in Japan as Mana-Khemia: School Alchemists) is the ninth game in the series and the first of the two-part Mana Khemia subseries.Vayne Aurelius, the son of legendary alchemist Theofratus, has lived the life of a hermit since his father's disappearance, with his only companion being a mana in the form of a cat, Sulpher.
One day, Vayne is invited to the Al-Revis Academy for alchemists by one of its professors, Zeppel.
Once enrolled, Vayne soon joins a student atelier, led by Flay Gunnar, an older student who is known as The Defender Of Justice, Jess Hartung, a clumsy girl who is nevertheless adept at alchemy, and Nikki Tithel, an impulsive beastgirl.
They are soon joined by Pamela Ibis, the school's resident ghost, Anna Lemouri, a 12-year-old master swordsman, Roxis Rosenkrantz, the son of a famous family of alchemists, and Muppy, an alien the group discover on an assignment.
Over the three years that Vayne attends the school, the eight of them work together to pass their assignments, and soon, begin to unfold the truth of Vayne's past, his powers, and the world.
The game has eight different endings, depending on the relationships that Vayne builds over the course of the game. A port for PSP, Mana Khemia: Student Alliance (released in Japan as Mana-Khemia: School Alchemists Portable Plus) was released in 2008 added additional synthesisable items and multiplayer function.
